Since September 2018 we have been offering Italian Language and culture courses organised with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in London.

Our extracurricular Italian courses are aimed at all the children attending Primary and Secondary School years in London and the South of England and run in more than 40 venues.

Despite the current situation due to COVID-19 making any long-term planning rather difficult, we are delighted to announce that our courses will start without delay in September 2021.

We are currently unable to confirm if lessons will be delivered online or in-person starting from September 2021, but registration is open for all our courses.

To avoid disruption, we kindly invite you to enrol your child onto the course running in your local area: this will allow your child to attend the course either face-to-face or online.
If face-to-face learning is not possible, at the end of each term we will issue a 10% refund for each lesson delivered online.

Please note that our courses can only start if a minimum number of students is reached. For this reason it is crucial to enrol your child(ren) as soon as possible.

Find the right course for your child

Designed for children attending primary schools (from Y1 to Y6), our courses are aimed at inspiring a love for the Italian language and culture.
Through fun and creative activities led by qualified teachers, children will have the chance to improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

Designed for Y7, Y8 and Y9 children.
Tailored to the needs and interests of pre-teens, these courses provide basic knowledge of the Italian language for beginners and would also benefit more fluent students by deepening their understanding of the Italian language and culture.

Ideally offered to Y10 and Y11 pupils, but open to Y9 as well, these courses are aimed at preparing students for Italian GCSE exams via a curriculum based on AQA, EDEXCEL or CAMBRIDGE IGCSE specifications. They also provide the opportunity to develop linguistic skills and to obtain a solid base ahead of studying A-LEVELs.

Dedicated to Y12 and Y13 students, but opened to Y11 as well, these courses provide a pleasant learning experience of the Italian language and culture through the study of literature, cinema and history of Italy and other Italophone regions.
The programme is based on EDEXCEL specification and prepares the students for higher education or work.

Locations and duration

A school year will start every September and will end in June for a total of 33 weeks of lessons. We strongly recommend that students join the course at the start, but we are happy to accommodate different needs.

Courses usually run in more than 40 venues in London and the South of England and are mainly held in schools, outside normal school hours.  If face-to-face learning is not possible, our lessons will be delivered online with no disruption.

We are exploring the option to offer online-only courses running over 33 weeks from September to June.

If our courses are not scheduled to run in your local area or online learning suits your family’s needs best, please register your interest by filling out this form.
