There is a wide range of CILS exams available that test a broad degree of competence in the use of the language in different social contexts.
These levels available are set following the guidelines in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: level A1, level A2, level ONE-B1, level TWO-B2, level THREE-C1, level FOUR-C2.

The exams will take place in person at SIAL.school, in West London (154-156 Holland Park Avenue, W11 4UH)
Fees
In addition to the exam fee established by the University of Siena, we charge an administration fee to cover our expenses, plus £10 for delivery of the certificate to your designated address. This is already included in the fees displayed above.
The examination fee, administration charges, and delivery fee are non-refundable for any reason, including in the event of an unsuccessful exam result. A refund will only be issued in full — including all fees — if the exam is not activated due to an insufficient number of students
Please note that each exam must reach a minimum number of 8 students to be activated.
If the minimum number of students is not reached, registration fees will be refunded in full.

Exam Results
Please note that it can take up to six months for exam results to be released.
Exam results can be accessed on the Università per Stranieri di Siena website here, using the enrolment number (numero di matricola) issued on the day of the exam. Further information is available here.
Certificates must be collected in person from SIAL.school, by appointment only.
Please note that SIAL.school is an examination centre only and is not responsible for grading or marking, as we facilitate exams on behalf of the Università per Stranieri di Siena. We are also not responsible for any delays in the delivery of certificates.
Retaking the exam
If you do not pass one or more components of your CILS exam and wish to retake them, you may do so at the next available exam session, provided this is within 18 months of your original exam date. A reduced fee applies, as outlined below.

Livelli CILS A1 e A2: £25
Livello CILS UNO-B1 A: £30
Livello CILS UNO-B1: £35
Livello CILS UNO-B1 C (not possibile to retake single components)
Livello CILS DUE-B2: £40
Livello CILS DUE-B2 A: £40
