GCSE Autumn Examination Revision Course

SMALL GROUP INTENSIVE REVISION COURSE (online, 5 days, 2 hours per day)  

In July the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) announced the dates for the Autumn 2020 series in England. There will be a full range of GCE A, AS and GCSE examinations available in all subjects. 

Many parents have enquired about revision courses for the Autumn GCSE examinations and we are delighted to announce that our tutors will be available online from 26th to 30th October (Half-Term) for a dedicated small group intensive revision.
 
We recognise the challenges that all students have faced since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we aim to offer high quality tuition to build up their knowledge and boost their confidence immediately prior to sitting the exam.
 

Timetable

Monday 26th October, 3:00-5:00pm
Paper 4 Writing – essay practice
Grammar check (verb tenses, irregular verbs and the subjunctive)
Developing writing skills (focus on content)

Tuesday 27th October, 3:00-5:00pm
Listening paper 
Grammar check (topic based vocabulary)

Wednesday 28th October, 3:00-5:00pm
Reading paper 
Essential vocabulary list

Thursday 29th October, 3:00-5:00pm

Friday 30th October, 3:00-5:00pm
Producing error-free writing 
Final grammar check and further ideas on essay content

COVID-19 UPDATE
Our response to the current COVID-19 situation is to continue to provide our students with great intensive programmes, but in an engaging and effective online format. 

Fees

This online revision course is aimed solely at students sitting the exam in Autumn 2020.
The course will be activated if a minimum number of 3 students is reached.

£150 per student per week (10 hours).

October Half-Term: from 26th to 30th October, 2 hours per day, 3:00-5:00pm
The course will be delivered online.
Sibling discount available.
No refund can be made for absence or illness.
 

Custom groups

Now you can build your own course for a group of students during the week of your choosing (according to our teachers’ availability). To create a bespoke group you will need to find a group of students of similar ages who would like to study together.
